Homemade Ketchup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 8- ounce 226g can tomato sauce
  • 1 6- ounce 170g can tomato paste
  • 6 ounces 170ml water
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 5 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 pinch ground allspice

Method
 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over low heat; whisk well. Simmer until slightly reduced, about 20 minutes, then salt to taste. Cool before transferring to a jar; refrigerate.

Notes

Recipe yields approximately 2 cups total, or 16 2-tablespoon servings. Actual number of servings will depend on your preferred portion sizes.
